City of Liubeth-Palace Of The Four Towers
In the Palace of the Four Towers , the center of the Molthus dinasty and symbol of the monarch in Kaniarus , the king Tariathus Seguthar II planned about the future of his realm and he had an ambitious future for it , unlike his father Tariathus wanted his kingdom to expand and reach the size of the now non-existant "Raghert Kingdom" most known as the "Peninsular kingdom" that once controlled most of the peninsula , however Tariathus had to thank his father the stability of the kingdom and it's strong economy that gave him the resources to expand the army and the navy and to make Kaniarus an important player in Centran politics again and now after one year of preparation of his army , Tariathus was ready to start his plan to expand his realm , his first objective was The Kingdom of Saraf the small kingdom to the south that could not fight with anyone and expect to win .
The last week of February he made the preparations for his army and sent the following message to the king of Saraf , Emmanuelle IV .
"King of Saraf Emmanuelle IV , by the honor and traditions that we share , I have to inform you that me Tariathus Seguthar II of Kaniarus , member of the Molthus dinasty , king of the Kaniarians and Guardian of the Palace of The Four Towers , declares war on your realm for the protection of the Kaniarian population and the restoration of the former kingdom of Kaniarus , our armies shall meet in the field and our swords will clash . Peaxit Marleth ."-[X] Signed Tariathus Seguthar II of Kaniarus
And with those words the war started , Tariathus saw the beginning of a glorious future for Kaniarus but this would only be the first step of a long road for the unification of the Peninsula , Tariathus wanted to be remembered not as a conqueror but as a unificator and a emperor , his ambitions reached all continents and he hoped one day he would able to contemplate what he made and be proud of what his sons would be.

Liubeth one of the richest cities in the peninsula and so were the other cities of Kaniarus but what made special Kaniarus were two things , the high literacy rates of the city that were growing thanks to the schools that the king created in the city and the university of Liubeth , the former provided basic education to the children of the subjects of the king in the city , more that could be say of other places in Centran , and the university was a highly prestigious institution that gave the monarch many of it's capable administrators and filled the ranks of it's bureaucracy , but it was also a place of innovation both social and technological , Tariathus himself studied in the Liubeth university and learned some of the innovative ways of the new century , specialy about the rights of it's subjects and the machines that made the production of certain products go higher than ever .
However now in the bustling city there was a group of people that saw the machines as part of the future and that the machines would provide to it's owners very high profits and increase the resources of the nation in order to either export them or sell them in the Kaniarian market , it was only a matter of time until one of those person wanted to meet with the king to try to convince him to fund him in order to create a company that would help the economy of Kaniarus in innovative ways either with trade or with increased production and the person that was able to convice him was Sonth Lubon , a member from the rich society of Liubeth that with his contacts and some sacrifice was able to meet with the king himself to present him his idea , at first Tariathus was indeferent to what Sonth said about the machines because he more focused in the matters of diplomacy and military expansion rather than economy , but Sonth convinced him by telling him how the new ways of trade and production would fuel the military of the country with new weapons and soldiers , in that aspect Sonth was somewhat of a visionary as he saw the future of machines as both incredible amazing and enormous destructive , Tariathus said to Sonth that he would help him raise a company and that he would be the administrator of the company , but he also said that Kaniarus now had no means avaliable to help him as the war was just over and before he already gave support to the Sektian Military Academy of Liubeth , however he said to him that he would have his support and that Sonth could start doing the preparatives for the new enterprise , that Sonth Named "Two Crowns Enterprise".
The city of Liubeth also saw the celebration of the national day of Kaniarus in July 15th , a tradition that started with the grandfather of Tariathus , in the celebration several officers with their soldiers would march through the Parade ground of Narieth , named after the prince Narieth of the old Peninsular kingdom who defeated a massive force of northern invaders in pyrrhic victory that would cost him his life , the military parade this year was less of a parade and rather a conmemoration for the ones that died in battle , the general Joan was at the march and he himself make the honors for those that died battle.

The people of Liubeth started to feel the change of season , the end of the summer and the start of the autumn , however this did not stop the people from Liubeth to keep working and enjoy what free time they had , however September was a month were the shiny gold of the crown started to go to the hands of the people , gold that came from the mines of the kingdom a gold that made the economy of Kaniarus grow more faster than previous years and it have the crown more money for their enterprises , the gold coins that were in the street were called "Zolls" and the growth generated capital for the new entrepeneurs but specially the merchants wanted to use the gold to trade in other nations and they wanted to create a company that would trade in the Peninsular region , but the merchants wanted the support from the monarchy support that they knew may not get because Sonth already gave his ideas to the king and the king was known to not change of opinion so easily.
However they prepared to send their most skill merchant someone called , Gunther Sortheait , a relativily young merchant that made a lot of profit from his enterprises both in the kingdom and in the colony of Raexis , he was known to be a very good dealer and a very eloquent person , however Gunther also thought that the king may not listen to him at all , but he trusted the contacts of the merchant partners and he knew that money was equal to power , thanks to several experiences he had with it in his deals or trying to get information about the competiting merchants , after three weeks of the petition to meet the king , Gunther received a positive response to meet with Tariathus his king , Gunther started with glorifying the victory of Tariathus in the war and the success of his policies , also how the new gold influx made the things easier for all merchants and people , Tariathus however was unnimpressed because he knew how the merchants were because he had to deal with them often because their petitions to meet with him for someone reason were always first , but Gunther caught the attention of the king with the idea of increasing the trade of Kaniarus both in the peninsula and in Faresia , Tariathus thought about it and he had an idea of how to project the power of Kaniarus with trade , trade that could make several nations of the peninsula more likely to accept the petitions and treaties of Kaniarus , when Gunther noticed that he gave Tariathus more ideas and started to explain him what would be best course of action to achieve his objectives.
After a long discussion between Tariathus and Gunther , Gunther retired with satisfaction , he thought that he many now have a chance to make the king change his focus over the machinery construction towards the trade , trade that would benefit Gunther and his partners the most , after a while Gunther decided to draw a plan for the objective that Tariathus told him about , he started to think that it may work after all.
Tariathus now had two options , one was to increase the trade hegemony of Kaniarus and the other to increase the strenght of Kaniarus both of them would benefit Kaniarus obviously but what matered to him was which option would benefit him the most , trade with other nations would increase his influence in other regions in Centran and the industrialism would bring his nation to modernity and to a new era where the machine would rule a world that was starting to take shape , Tariathus consulted several of his advicers and made several meeting with both Gunther and Sonth do discuss it , maybe he only needed more time to think about it , for Tariathus this was one of the few times that he was not entirely sure of something and that made him thought.

Both explorers, Hans Lurich was a former soldier turned explorer and wished for the King and the Kaniarian monarchy to fund an exploration into Serranthia for him. Days later, Britock von Sorrick visited. A former trade and citizen of Raexis, he wished explorations of Faresia not only funded, but put under his control so that Kaniarius might expand it's colonial empire. The King had a choice to make.

City of Triathus
Triathus has always been the cultural heart of Kaniarus , the place where most historians go to learn the history of the Raghert Kingdom and also the place where the most patriotic of men live , while the snow started to fall on Triathus one of those patriotic men called
Eutrop Spint once a soldier of the king now a owner of a shop at the center of the city and also a the founder of a small patriotic organization named after first king of the Peninsular Kingdom "the Briesirom Soldiers" , the Briesrimos Soldiers have pretty much no effect on the politics of the country and the Kaniarians living outside of Kaniarus , the organization is pretty much more focused on discussing the matters of the Kaniarian people and how the country is progressing , specially now that the kingdom of Saraf have been annexed by the king and it's people became subjects of the king .
However more recently Eutrop Spint have started to think about making his group more active and about how he could be able to rise the morale of the nation and put the efforts to it to restore the old Peninsular kingdom as it was the dream of many patriotic persons before him , what he planned to do would take him years of preparation and so he started to write a book about the fraternity between Kaniarians and his glorious dream of restoring the Peninsular Kingdom , the members of his organization applauded his initiative and they said that they would help him to distribute the book on all Kaniarus.
At the same time on the Cathedral of Saint Vouhet , the priest made preparations to receive the High Priest of Liubeth for ceremony of "Kalaxis" where the people remembers the day on which the "Caralthism" was created , the Caralthism has the belief that there is only one god and that god judges the people after they die to decide if they will go to hell or heaven , also the Caralthism is not native from the Peninsula and has only been part of Kaniarus since the year 1200 , the monarchy recognizes that the Caralthism is important because it gives some legitimacy to the king and also because it is shared by neighboring countries which gives some affinity to the king when talking to other rulers , Eutrop Spint have been known to support the ways of the king towards the religion because the king with the time has became more independent from the Caralthism since the XVIII Century .
In a small house at the outskirts of Traithus Britock von Sorrick visited his grandfather and at the same he awaited for the answer of the king , it had been several weeks if not months since he visited the king and because of that he had given up hope of having support for his enterprise in Faresia , however destiny helped him , at the time where night started to begin a royal messenger arrived to the small house where Britock von Sorrick was , he received the following message it :
"After several weeks of thought , I have decided to tell you that I will support you and I will give you the funds to make an expedition to Faresia and I have agreed to your terms , however this is not an official authorization to start now and you shall wait until I give now , for now you have my word that you will lead a expedition to Faresia"-[X]Signed-Tariathus Seguthar II of Kaniarus

Liubeth-Palace of The Four Towers
Snow is everywhere in the city of Liubeth even in the great palace of the four towers , where the king lives along with his family and several members of his dinasty , the palace is outside of the city and is atleast as big as 8 blocks of houses , it had it's own chapell and grand library , many paints were on the walls in one hall were the paints of every king of Kaniarus since it's creation , it also took into account the kings of the Raghert Kingdom that were part of the Molthus Dinasty , something that everyone noticed was the trait that all kings from the Molthus Dinasty were tall in compared to other kings of the Peninsula and all of them had black hair , in one of the towers of the palace there was a massive paint of the family tree of the Molthus dinasty , the paint was requested by the father of Tariathus and it had took about three years to finish , in the paint there were many names , many lines , many branches that streched all through the walls of the tower and in one of those walls you could see the name of Tariathus .
Tariathus every while visited the paint of the family tree , he knew that he was related to the kings of some nations such as the king of kingdom of Bruana and several other kings in the Peninsula , this happened because the old peninsular kingdom was a very prestigious one and it had lot's of influence outside of it's core region , also Tariathus had made preparations to invite most members of the Molthus dinasty or atleast the most important of them as it was traidition of the dinasty to met in december to maintain ties and to discuss about marriages , titles and hierarchy , Tariathus as the king of Kaniarus was the head of the whole dinasty and he often decided marriages for the dinasty branches of his dinasty , he also often spoke to them about what was happening in Centran and what they thought about it , the meeting often ended when in the main hall the guests said thanks to the head of the dinasty for his hospitality , all of that was going to happen in December and Triathus prepared for it.
Between one of the many traditions of the Molthus dinasty it was that the head of the dinasty had to organize a "Molthus Guard" to protect the members of the dinasty if they needed it , this originated as some of the previous king saw how some branches of the dinasty dissapeared misteriously and their titles were given to other families , the guard first was made of bodyguards that were once mercenaries and that knew how to fight , but with the time it evolved to be somewhat more prestigious and honorable , the current Molthus Guard has between it's ranks some young members of the Molthus dinasty and some members from the aristocracy of Kaniarus , the Guard is paid by the head of the dinasty , Tariathus currently has two guards protecting him , The Royal Guard and Molthus Guard , that often compete to have the most prestigious places in parades or protecting the king , however the Royal Guard only protects the king and the main royal family while the Molthus Guard have to protect the members of the Molthus Dinasty often spreading the Molthus Guard thin.

The new year was welcomed with peace in Kaniarus , the winter in Kaniarus was peaceful and it did not interrupt many of daily things the Kaniarians did , however the king made sure that the first month of the year was not going to be idle , because after several months of thought he decided to fund the enterprise of Gunther Sortheait , because he knew that the benefits from the trade company would come sooner and that was what he needed in order to increase his investments both in the colonies and in the army which he wanted to expand more , because of that he gave the order to recruit 25,000 more soldiers to the army even the people from Raexis were chosen to become soldiers and he also knew about what just happened in the empire of Khernikovia but he had little time left for the next months and so he decided to wait to give their support to any of the candidates for the throne.
When the news of the support of the king arrived to Gunther he was happy first of all from being able to get the support from the king and because he could increase his influence in the merchant society , the money he got from the king was a lot and he rapidly decided to form the company from scratch first purchasing several transport ships and goods , but before of all of that he named the company "The Liubeth Company" a not extraordinary name but something that could last in the minds of everyone with ease , it took Gunther several weeks to finish all preparations and organization of the company in order to then start trade and generate profit for his investors , including the king , while Gunther was doing his work a letter arrived to Sonth Lubon from the king telling him to wait for the support of the king and he was sorry to not being able to support him this year , Sonth Lubon then decided to carry his normal business in Liubeth until the king gave him the support and money he needed to start his enterprise.
On a small bar of Liubeth a certain group of people discussed every Friday night , what they discussed remained in secret for the rest of the people since they always rented a small room for their talks , however for the intellectuals of the University of Liubeth knew what they were talking about , something called "Reform" reform of laws , government and the social structure of the Kaniarus , some of those reforms were small since the current king made them to be liked by the people and other reforms were very radical , they wanted to change the way Kaniarus worked from the inside , that small group of people was integrated by young adults that saw no need for a king or a nobility , they wanted "Democracy".

The newly founded Liubeth Company (founded 1837) was a historic event. While traders had rummaged up and down the coasts for centuries, a financial institution that's whole basis was trade in a particular region had never before been seen. Within the month the Liubeth Company had formulated their comprehensive plan for beginning trade in the region. In late February of 1837 they had begun operations in the Liubeth House in Liubeth, a lucrative estate and former mansion of a long dead noble. They had charted a half dozen carracks and sailing ships for operations out of Raexis that would begin next week.

Within weeks, the Liubeth Company had ships in Ling ports in Faresia, selling and trading Kaniarian wares. The imports and exports were well received and the formerly enigmatic identity of the Ling Empire became Neutral, where before it was merely uncertain. However, the owner of the company, Gunther Sortheait, immediately requested to the monarch that Kaniarian ships be dispatched to ensure the sanctity of Liubeth Company trade ships were protected. If not, it could certainly disparage future trade ventures, as sailors without escort were unlikely to travel in hostile waters. |

The reports that Liubeth Company had started to operate with good results made the king of Kaniarus be happy with the results of his investments but it had to be seen how the company would develop with the years and what kind of benefits and problems would bring to him , he also heard the petition from Gunther Sortheait to dispatch some frigates to defend the new trade lanes , Tariathus agreed to this because he knew that the waters of Faresia were very insecure for normal trade ships of Centran because some states still practised the piracy and some other could not stop it completely , besides his fleet was big and it had no use until his army could be ready to launch a new campaign to the north of the Kaniarus in the lands of the Greater Kingdom of Tiberia .
Tariathus wanted to do things fast is because of that he wanted to attack Tiberia in order to bring the territories there to Kaniarus and to have the resources he needed to equip his army and to keep fueling the economy because even if the Kingdom had a very organized trade company it had no use if Kaniarus didnt had the means to produce raw materials in massive quantities without the help of heavy machinery that had to be created in specialized factories that took several resources from the economy, also he knew that Tiberia would be a formidable enemy and a obstacle for his vision of a unified peninsula that he would rule , the general Joan supported Tariathus in that subject and he was working on improving the tactics of the Karianian military for the future wars that he would have to fight .
Also in March the Palace of the Four Towers saw a big ceremony to celebrate the birth of Harith first son of Tariathus , this event was very special because the king while being 36 had not been able to give a heir to the throne of Kaniarus sooner like his father , in the celebration many nobles and members of the aristocracy were invited by the king to the ceremony including several generals between them Joan , Harith had been born in a peaceful night and he did was not crying at the moment of his birth , this has lead to some people to believe that Harith will be a peaceful king that will not fear anyone or anything in his life , but Tariathus had planned to train his son to be just like him and to keep expading Kaniarus if he could not complete his dream, what awaits Harith is uncertain but it will be a truly glorious life or a very solitary one .

In one peaceful night at the royal room of the king of Kaniarus , Tariathus was writing a letter a letter to the Count d'Aosta of Etelia , it was a letter of support to the Count , the letter was well written as it was the custom of Tariathus and it took Tariathus two hours of his time to think and put the correct words in the correct order so the Count could understand everything he meant and what he did not mean, after Tariathus finished to write the letter he prepared to envelop it in some ornaments and , after all that was done he put the Seal of both the house of Molthus and the Royal Seal of Kaniarus , he then proceded to deliver it to the royal messenger and after that everything else was done he decided to finally sleep , the days of Tariathus were busy and this day was not exception and the Tariathus thought that if one day he is free of anything he is forgetting something or he is ruling correctly.
The decision of Tariathus to send a letter to the Count d'Aosta of Etelia came to be when he received the message of Siath Ferguth , a member of his dinasty that had settled in Khernikovia as a landowner that was owner of hundreds of acres ,earlier in April about who were the candidates to the throne of the Khernikovian Empire with every name a large description of how they were was written , while Tariathus was not interested in the affairs of the a foreign country to the east , he knew that he had to gave his opinion about the matter sooner or later , the one candidate that caught his attention was the Count someone that shared his dream of recovery and empire , someone that wanted to make his nation great as it was before and greater that many nations in the world , Tariathus and the Count shared opinions and without met him Tariathus knew that he would like him and someone like him in the throne would be ideal to maintain the balance in the east a balance that could benefit him in the future and so he sent made the decision to send him money and his support.
Several days later a young adult arrived to the palace of the Four Towers , his name was Meriath Kirth brilliant , well educated and member of the high classes of the society , he studied medicine at the University of Kaniarus and graduated as the best of his class , but he was little interested in becoming a doctor and his passion was politics which he studied since a child when his father told him how the Molthus Dynasty expanded so far through the world and how it developed over the years until the present time , the reason of why he arrived to the Palace was that his father was a very well-known member of the elite of Kaniarus someone that had much influence in Kaniarus and because of that Meriath was allowed to go to the Palace of the Four Towers as a member of the court that lived in the palace , however this was just the start for him and his first step towards the one thing he desired the most , the power to lead Kaniarus as he wanted.
[Support Count d'Aosta of Etelia]: The half brother of Paul, he is son to the widowed Countess d'Aosta of Etelia and long time lover of Borislav IV. Although only half related, he is a thirty-two year old member of Etelian Parliament, a successful cavalry commander and archer, he is well read and has published a volume of books regarding human anatomy. Etelia is a conservative as well, and wishes to see Khernikovia become a world power again, as it had once been in the late 1600's.

Saraf had been quiet since the annexation of Kaniarus and their old king left, maybe this was because a large amount of Kaniarians that lived there were quite happy to become part of Kaniarus and the native Sarafians didn't care too much since they had been able to access to more protection and the guarantee that they now could protect themselves against any foreign country , the ones that didn't want to become part of Kaniarus were pretty much a minority and the most patriotic of the Sarafians that truly believed that Saraf could fend off any enemy , Tariathus made sure to calm down the people after the annexation and quickly established his own administration in the province of Saraf . Saraf has also been known to be a fertile land , that benefited the Kaniarus since they pretty much focused on other resources and the Sarafians benefited because they became part of a bigger market this improved the quality of life of some , the Liubeth Company had a office in Saraf and it did in all of the provinces of Kaniarus and that generated new jobs and more income for the educated people , the grain from Saraf soon arrived to Liubeth soon and the prices of food started to go down that made the people of Liubeth happier and increased their supports towards the king a support that Tariathus may not need but that was welcome by him anyways . Saraf had also a part of the history of the old Peninsular Kingdom , Saraf once was the center of trade and naval center of the old kingdom , here it was were many merchants arrived everyday to buy and sell goods , both exotic and regular goods , it also was the place where the first explorer that arrived to Faresia departed , the traditions of Saraf has not been forgotten both by the historians and the normal people , the result of this is that many fathers tell the adventures of Ganialio a fictional character that had many in adventures in the world traveling by sea. The annexation of Saraf benefited the Molthus dynasty since some members of it were landowners in Saraf and some were even nobles in the aristocracy of Saraf , that allowed Tariathus to be able to get some of the treasures from the old nobles that died in battle or fled from Saraf and their lands were given to the members of the Molthus dinasty and some members of the Kaniarian nobility that requested land .
